Category 3 is suitable for daytime driving. It is the category made for strong sun: sea, mountains, the city in summer.

Polarised lenses may reduce the legibility of some liquid-crystal displays, including dashboard ones.

04 — Safety warnings

Seven things not to do

  1. Never look directly at the sun, not even while wearing the glasses.

  2. Do not use for direct observation of the sun or of solar eclipses.

  3. They are not protection against intense artificial light sources: sunbeds, welding, lasers.

  4. They are not impact protectors: not suitable for industrial use or for sports with a risk of impact.

  5. The lenses are not unbreakable: replace the glasses if scratched or damaged.

  6. Keep away from young children.

  7. Stop using them in case of irritation or skin reaction to the materials.

The stated protection level refers to solar radiation.

05 — Cleaning and storage

Three habits, and they last

  1. Cleaning

    Wash with lukewarm water and dry with the microfibre cloth provided. Do not use alcohol, solvents, aggressive detergents or abrasive cloths.

  2. Storage

    Put them back in the case when not in use. Keep them away from heat sources and never leave them on the car dashboard.

  3. Lifespan

    The product has no expiry date while intact. Replace it if the lenses are scratched, chipped or damaged.
